We have a look at some of the predictions on upcoming home decor colour trends, so you can be ahead of the design game!
Five Home Decor Colour Trends of 2022
Warm, earthy tones
With spending more time than ever in our homes this year, we are wanting our environment to become softer and soothing, and these tones will help bring comfort, a sense of peace, and help bring the outside in.
Earthy palettes and rooms dominated by blues and greys will benefit from a dusky pink colour to break it up while introducing an optimistic vitality.
Uplifting optimism is a definite vibe for the coming years colours, and shades of yellow will bring a brighter feel of spring and summer, awakening our spirits.
How we use our paints will also factor greatly. Features such as matt finishes that cover entire walls, including luxury internal doors, ceilings, coving, window frames and sills, and woodwork, all in the same colour, will then be offset by a statement wall in gloss for a high-sheen stand-out effect.
Explore new greens
Biophilic design is not going anywhere, and inspiring a rich range of greens, to be perfectly paired with blues and greys, will provide a soothing setting in which to relax.
